Genesis Chapter 37

There was this G named Joseph  ....

and along with his older brothas, he took care of the family sheep.  Now one day, he overheard his brothers getting into a mix that he knew their Father, Jacob would NOT approve of.   His brothas were heated, 'cause Joseph snitched.

Now Joseph was without a doubt, Jacob's fave.....see he had Joseph when he was real old & it made Jacob feel like he was da man....  Well, you know what it made his other sons' feel like.  Straight up....it wasn't right....

but you know, favor ain't fair......

Jacob gave Joseph a robe....now this robe was "it", a one of a kind, multi colored, signature gear that screamed, "...I'm not taking it to 100 ...baby, I am already there....."  Now when Joseph's brothas' saw that Jacob loved Joseph more, they hated him and matter fact roasted him 24/7.

Then on top of all the love Jacob  was showing Joseph.....

Joseph had a dream and then he told it to his brothas...  The dream went somethin' like this....:

Joseph and his brothas were hanging out in the field, each had their own grain, but Joseph's grain was phat, it made his brotha's grain look like dried weeds....their grain was so, so

lame that they bowed to Joseph and gave him his props.

 Now you know what happened.........

when he finished tellin' them the dream....THEY LOST IT, THEY CLOCKED, GOT HEATED AND....THEN WENT ON TO CHECK HIM....His brotha's said, " Oh, no...you don't think you are about to be in ALL our faces with some mess about you having the cream and we on our knees to you like you are royalty?"....And the Bible says, that they hated him all the more...because of his dream and what he had said.

Now to make it even more insane, Joseph had a another dream and gave his brothas' the

skinny....He said, "In this dream, the sun, moon and eleven stars were bowing down to me".

And this time he told his father, Jacob too.  Even Jacob told him, he needed to stop trippin'

...your parents' and brothas' giving it up to you like you all that?  His brothas' became even more heated...............

One day, Jacob sent Joseph out into the fields to check on his brothas' and the flock of sheep...and to come back with a report on what was up.

Because his brothas' were way ahead of him, it took him a minute to catch up with them and while he was coming up on them they decided to eliminate him and tell everybody a fierce animal ate him.  So when Joseph got to them, they jumped him for his robe and threw him in a big water hole that was empty of water.  There was no way on his own that Joseph could get out.  Then his brothas' sat down and ate, saw some men riding up on horses and sold Joseph as a slave to them.

Then they took his robe...pured some goat's blood on it and took it back to their Father

and said..."Joseph was killed by an animal."  Jacob was in serious grief behind his son's death and his sons' thought that they had put in end to it all being about Joseph.

Meanwhile, Joseph went from a slave to the Master's top dogg, he handled Potipher's (the owner/master) business.  Dude put Joseph in charge of it all......Then on top of all that,

then Potipher put Joseph in charge of all of Egypt....you know it!

 Joseph was gettin' homemade cake.

His gear was so tight, he could hardly stand it and he had been given a gift by God, to interpret the dreams of the King of Egypt.

One day, Joseph's brothas' were told by their Dad, Jacob, to go to Eygpt and by some grain, because they were on E in their fields.

Now peep this, they didn't know where Joseph was, so when they got to Egypt, they had to go the the one in charge  and sure nuff...

it was Joseph...but they didn't recognize him.  So they bowed down

before Joseph and made their request for purchase...(now wait a minute...didn't dude have a dream that his family would have to bow to him...cause his grain was phat!?!)  He messed with their heads for

a bit, but sold it to them and sent them back to their Dad. But they still didn't know it was their brotha, Joseph.

In the end, Joseph was reunited with his family and they respected him for he had taken care of them...in spite of what his brotha's had done....

     'Cause jealousy never wins....

..even when it looks like it does.

The person who eventually gets hit the hardest is the one operating

in it.

When you are jealous, it usually has more to do with how you feel about yourself, then the person you are

jealous of........
